Your Coach
I’m Darren, a performance coach and kinesiologist who walked away from a job to find something real again. I didn’t plan to run. I just needed to move. That movement turned into a mission — to rebuild not just my body, but my mindset.
Running has become my proving ground. And I want to give you the same tools, challenges, and breakthroughs that helped me rediscover my fire.
You don’t need to love running. You just need to show up with intent. I’ll meet you there.
“This is the challenge I needed. So I built it.”
Darren Stroh MS, CES-NASM
Frequently asked questions
Q: What if I haven’t run in years?
A: Perfect. This plan is built for re-entry — gradual, guided, and grounded in biomechanics.
Q: Is this challenge all running?
A: No. It includes rest days, optional strength, mobility, and mindset work.
Q: What gear do I need?
A: Just decent running shoes, something to track your time/stride and a commitment to yourself.
Q: Can I do this at my own pace?
A: Yes. You’re encouraged to listen to your body — but the plan is there to keep you growing.
Q: What if I feel embarrassed starting over?
A: You’re not alone — and you’re not behind. Starting over takes courage most people avoid. The Stride Rebuild Challenge meets you where you are, and every stride forward is a statement that you’re not done growing. There’s no judgment here — only progress.
Q: How fast should my “goal pace” be?
A: Your goal pace should be challenging but sustainable — something you can hold for 15–30 seconds without falling apart. It’s not about being fast — it’s about being intentional. We’ll help you discover that pace and train your body to adapt to it safely over time.
