Welcome

I’m less of a running coach and more of a movement coach.

That means I care more about how you move than how far or fast you go. It’s not about piling on miles — it’s about teaching your body to move well, move confidently, and move with intention.

At Track Your Stride, everything we do is built on the S.A.I.D. principleSpecific Adaptation to Imposed Demands. That means we don’t just go through the motions. We train with purpose, teaching your body to adapt to the demands you actually want it to meet.

“Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.”

This isn’t about being the fastest on the trail. It’s about showing up with intent, rebuilding what life may have broken down, and tracking your stride — in running, in movement, and in life.

Whether you're starting from zero or getting back to the athlete you once were, this is where your real training begins.

From Flatlined to Forward

I don’t have all the answers. But I do know the power of taking that first step — especially when life knocks you flat.

I'm Darren, and not long ago, I found myself standing at a crossroads. After leaving a job that no longer aligned with who I was or who I wanted to be, I felt lost. Not just career-wise — but in my identity, my energy, and my direction.

One morning, without a plan or a playlist, I put on my shoes and stepped outside. I started walking. I needed air. I needed clarity. And somewhere along that quiet stretch of road, the walk turned into a run. Not because I love jogging — to be honest, I don’t. But I love what running unlocks.

It’s not about the speed or the distance. It’s about the shift that happens when you move with intention.
It’s about proving — to yourself — that you’re still capable. Still in control. Still willing to fight for what’s next.

Running became more than exercise. It became therapy, challenge, and proving ground — all in one.

That’s what Track Your Stride was born from: a desire to rebuild myself through movement — and to help others do the same.
You don’t have to be an athlete. You don’t even have to love running. You just have to show up, take that first step, and trust that momentum will meet you there.

If you're ready to find your stride again — physically, mentally, spiritually — I’m right here with you.

Let’s take that step, together.
